Dr. Khaled M. Krisht is a board-eligible neurosurgeon. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Emory University in Atlanta where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honors society upon graduation for his high academic achievement before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree with distinction from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon.
He completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, followed by his neurosurgical residency training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he served as chief resident.
His special interests include minimally invasive techniques, including the transnasal microscopic approach to the sellar and suprasellar regions for removal of difficult brain tumors.
He is well adept at utilizing state-of-the-art computer image-guidance in addition to performing surgery on awake patients to remove difficult lesions while ensuring minimal postoperative deficits. Dr. Krisht is experienced in the treatment of brain, pituitary and spinal cord tumors, simple and complex cervical and lumbar spine disease, cranial and spinal trauma, stroke and pain disorders.
