Prescription / Pain Medication

We feel that narcotics for pain should be used carefully and sparingly, and for as short a time period as possible.

You should obtain narcotic prescriptions from only one physician. Prescription information is carefully monitored by all pharmacies and reported to the Alabama Department of Public Health. You may be asked to sign a Pain Management Agreement with our physician before receiving a prescription for pain.

We may need to involve a Pain Clinic/Pain Management Specialist to help with your medication. We will not call in any pain medication after normal office hours, or on the weekend.
